The Cafesjian Family Foundation has five major areas of activity in Armenia:
- Media - Cafesjian Family Foundation is a partner in CS Media, the largest independent media company in Armenia, with four television stations, a radio station, a 65 channel pay TV service, and various print publications. Cafesjian Family Foundation has purchased Armenia's national film studio.
- Energy - Cafesjian Family Foundation owns a series of companies engaged in developing and promoting use of alternative energy in Armenia including Solar, Biomass, Wind and fuel cell technology. Through its financial services group, Cafesjian Family Foundation is active in lending to the renewable energy sector, particularly small hydro and wind.
- Financial Services - Cafesjian Family Foundation owns Cascade Capital Holdings, which in turn controls Cascade Bank, Cascade Credit, Cascade Equity Managers, Cascade Insurance, and Cascade Investments.
- Real Estate - Cafesjian Family Foundation is a partner in CFF Real Estate, a growing real estate services firm.
- Arts - Cafesjian Family Foundation, through the Cafesjian Museum Foundation, is developing an arts complex in central Yerevan, in the territory in and around the Cascade. They broke ground on the Cafesjian Museum of Art during the Spring of 2005. The museum should be completed in Spring 2008.
